On March 11, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a notice, making the final review and ruling of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on aluminum wire and cable imported from China. If the anti-dumping measures are removed, the Chinese products involved will continue or be dumped again with a dumping margin of 63.47%. If the countervailing duties are removed, it will lead to the continuation or resumption of subsidies for the Chinese products involved at a tax rate ranging from 33.44% to 165.63%.

The final review was initiated at the request of domestic interested parties, namely Encore Wire Corporation (Encore) and Southwire Company, LLC (Southwire).
