On March 4, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the final anti-dumping determination on disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids imported from China. It ruled that the dumping margins of Chinese producers/exporters ranged from 193.90% to 287.80%.
At the same time, the U.S. Department of Commerce made the final countervailing duty determination on disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids imported from China. It ruled that since Henan Aluminium Corporation and Zhejiang Acumen Living Technology Co., Ltd. did not participate in the response to the investigation, the countervailing duty rates for both of them were 317.85%, and the countervailing duty rate for other Chinese producers/exporters was also 317.85%.
The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is expected to make the final anti-dumping and countervailing duty determinations on industrial injury in this case on April 18, 2025. This case mainly involves products under the U.S. Customs tariff code 7615.10.7125.
On June 6, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the initiation of anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations on disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids imported from China.
On October 22, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a notice making the preliminary countervailing duty determination on disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids imported from China.
On December 20, 2024, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the preliminary anti-dumping determination on disposable aluminum containers, pans, trays, and lids imported from China.
