According to statistics from the International Aluminum Association (IAI). Global primary aluminum production was 6.04 million tons in November. It was 6.231 million tons in October and 5.863 million tons in November 2023. A 3.1% month-on-month decline and a 3% year-on-year growth.

For the month, global average daily production of primary aluminum was 201,300 tonnes, down slightly 0.1% from October.

China’s estimated primary aluminum production in November was 360.9,000 tons, down from 3.73 million tons in October. The rest of Asia produced 397,000 tonnes, down from 408,000 tonnes last month.

North America produced 327,000 tons of primary aluminum in November. It is 133,000 tons in Africa and 126,000 tons in South America.
