For me, £65 is a lot of cash to replace a pump I have no issues using. But for those precluded from track pumps, the value would be high. (The Fumpa Pump I tested earlier this year is £139.)

Merida has stuck with the additional aluminium cooling fins found on both front and rear disc mounts. Designed to reduce heat build up and make the Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes work brakes more efficiently it adds a unique look to the frame. Whilst we didn’t notice a drastic increase in performance when descending there certainly were no issues with braking. One aspect of the 7000-E we preferred over the higher end disc models were the thru-axles. We weren’t fans of the RAT levers so the more ‘standard’ versions found on this model were much easier to use.

The result is the negation of the annoyingly over-helpful ESP with its elongated consideration before it will allow you full throttle — almost like it’s deciding whether you’re worthy of it.

Since 2001, the government has ignored repeated rulings from the High Court Division of the Bangladeshi Supreme Court ordering the government to ensure that the Hazaribagh tanneries install means to treat their effluent and relocate out of Dhaka. The government sought extensions of the High Court order to relocate, and then ignored the order when the extension has passed. The government’s failure to follow the High Court’s orders has left the residents of Hazaribagh without any legal remedy for the skin diseases, fever, diarrhea, stomach problems, and respiratory illnesses caused by tannery pollution.

TIG welding is a choreographed dance among the torch, the filler rod, and the foot pedal. Note that the torch faces in the direction of weld movement to keep the weld enveloped by the shielding gas. The torch can be moved in a slight spiral or a slight zigzag in order to broaden the weld puddle and even out the heat. The filler is dipped into the puddle to add material as needed. Some TIG welds can be done without adding filler—these are called autogenous, and essentially fuse the two halves of the workpiece with the material that’s already there.

The behavior of alloying elements in solid solution in the aluminum matrix is of importance since this may affect, to some degree, the properties of anodic films.  In some instances, a different anodizing response was observed depending upon whether the elements were in solid solution or formed intermetallic compounds.1  Using a technique similar to that of Wood and Brock,8 the distribution of alloying elements across matrix-anodic film was measured by the slow-scan of an electron probe microanalyzer.  The behavior of elements in solid solution was then compared with other work where such behavior was determined by the x-ray fluorescence method.9,10

The Hazaribagh tanneries make up between 90 and 95 percent of all tanneries in Bangladesh.[4] There are a handful of tanneries in Bangladesh outside Hazaribagh, located in other areas of Dhaka, as well as Jessore and Chittagong. This report does not address those tanneries.

The latter three grades are different in magnesium concentration and require accurate analysis to 0.2% magnesium or lower.

In Goa, we’re continuously engaged with the state and central governments with the support of the people adversely impacted by the Supreme Court’s state-wide ban for the resumption of mining in the State of Goa. The state’s High Court process is currently underway in respect of our copper smelter at Tuticorin.
