The county also decided to find other financing for things like landscaping, playgrounds, display cases and stage curtains. These negotiations brought the price down to approximately $20 million.

Turning now to aluminum, we are pleased to report that the unit cost reduction trajectory continues with the first quarter CoP at $1,764 a tonne, a reduction of 8% year-on-year. We saw new records in our captive alumina production at Lanjigarh with a highest-ever production of 446,000 tonnes, up 37% year-on-year. This was very well supported by higher supply from OMC, meeting around 65% of our bauxite requirement for the quarter. Consequently, our Lanjigarh refinery saw one of the lowest cost of production, as I said earlier, of $284 a tonne, which is a significant improvement year-on-year.

Temper is a different piece of information also needed. Most vehicle manufacturers use a temper in the T4 range, which is considered low strength, so it can be formed into complex shapes. Other manufacturers may use a T6, which is 50 percent stronger, allowing thinner grades for reducing weight but maintaining strength and dent resistance. The temper will have a major factor in repair, as the higher the temper, the more diligence and time it will take to repair – if it is possible to repair.

Novelis and Aleris are both global manufacturers of aluminium flat rolled products with significant production facilities in the European Economic Area (EEA), in particular in Belgium ,Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. With the proposed transaction, Novelis would reinforce its strong market position as a supplier of various flat rolled products.

[143] Permanent employees in tanneries are long-term employees, usually of large tanneries, who benefit from a stable employment agreement (with relatively better workplace benefits, often because of trade union representation). The Labour Act has a broader definition of a permanent worker, as one who “is employed in an establishment on a permanent basis or [one who] has satisfactorily completed the period of his probation in the establishment.”Labour Act (2006), section 4(7).

My first question is on incremental capital allocation, there were talks about setting up a fertilizer plant at Hindustan Zinc. Has there been some progress made over there? That’s the first question.

A study in 2006 reported lower concentrations of chromium in Hazaribagh groundwater than the 2001 study.[31] However, it did find that groundwater samples from Hazaribagh were higher in sodium, magnesium, ammonium, chlorine, sulfate, and calcium as well as chromium, copper, lead, aluminum, and sulfur than adjacent areas. It warned that “there is the possibility of contamination of the deeper groundwater in the future if protection of the soil and groundwater environment from untreated tannery wastes is not considered.”[32]

In vitro transcription and transfection of Vero cells yielded the Nd and K23 infectious hybrid viruses expressing Nd and the K23 prM and E proteins, respectively. To confirm the expected phenotype of the hybrid viruses, the presence of heterologous TBEV protein E on hybrid virus particles was analyzed by Western blotting using polyclonal anti-TBEV Neudörfl and anti-WNV NY99 antisera, as previously described (19). Hybrid viruses recovered from transfected cells were sequenced to demonstrate that no reversions or additional mutations occurred in the viruses used in subsequent neutralization assays.
